She was a one-time judge at Miss Black Africa UK Pageant. Edo was made the United Nations habitat youth envoy in 2014, an appointment given to her by the Secretary General of the United Nations.

Ini Edo Education
Edo is Ibibio, from Akwa Ibom State located in the south-south part of Nigeria. Her mother was a school teacher, and her father was a church elder.
Being the second among four other siblings, her upbringing was strict and decent. She attended Cornelia Connely College in Uyo, Nigeria. She bagged a Diploma in Theatre Arts from Uni Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
After her diploma, she furthered her education with a Bachelor’s in English from UNICAL, Cross River State in the year 2014. From there, she got a scholarship to study law at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
