How To Live A Good Christian Life Without Regrets

Yes, it is hard to live a spiritual and good Christian life and you have no choice but to live in Christ Jesus. You in Him, he in you. But how do you do it? To live a good Christian life is really hard.

Well, that’s what I’m going to talk about in this article. It’s going to be an interesting one, so let’s get to it just very quickly.

How do you live a good Christian life in God? You and Him, he and you in a deep relationship? Well, let’s start by looking at the first verse, Romans 6 vs 6. We know that our old self is talking about the person we used to be before we were reborn Christian.

We know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that a body of sin might be brought to nothing so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. So what do we have to do?

We Need To Believe That We Have Died With Christ Jesus

For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now, if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. Today, you accepted Jesus as Lord and savior. You became a reborn Christian, you are spiritually reborn and you receive the Holy Spirit in you.

Jesus said in John 3 vs 5  verse truly, truly I say to you unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

You and I were like the rest of the world, the unbelievers’ dead men and women walking with no spiritual life, and we could not understand anything about God.

For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except for the spirit of that person which is in Him? Now listen, no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. And now as a child of God, you have the Spirit of God in you, the Holy Spirit.

Understanding The Spirit Of The Holy Ghost And His Words

Now we have received not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom, but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. Do you understand now why the quote John 424, says God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth?

You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. So as reborn Christians, we know the Holy Spirit because he lives in us. and that is how we can live a good Christian life

But you will see me because I live, you also will live. On that day you will know that I am in my Father and you in me, and I in you. So the Holy Spirit represents Jesus the Son and God the Father in us.

Galatians 4 verse 6 beautifully says because you are sons God has sent, listen to this the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying Abba Father. So through the Holy Spirit, we now have a deep personal relationship with God the Father and the Spirit connects us with Jesus Christ, and now we are one with Him.

Believing We Are Sinners And Acting On The Guidance Of The HolyGhost

Corinthians 6 verse 17 says but he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. But you should always remember that we also have a sinful nature in us, a fleshly nature.

But now, because we have a new spiritual nature, the Holy Spirit in us, we need to let the Holy Spirit guide us, our souls, to act according to God’s will and not act through our fleshly desires.

So we are now dead to sin because we reckon our old sinful fleshly natures as death to sin, so we are dead to sin. The sinful nature in us is powerless when we act through faith and in the Spirit. And we only experience powerlessness when we act out of faith from the fact that we died with Christ.

if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him, because we know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will not die again. Death no longer rules over him for the death he died. He died to sin once and for all time. But the life he lives, he lives to God. So you too consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Overcoming The Fear Of Sin And Death

So sin and death have no power over us. If we reckon our old sinful natures as dead and alive in Christ, death can’t do anything to us because we have a new spirit in us, our bodies will die. But we will continue to live with Christ. Jesus died for your sins. And when you understand it, when you reckon it as true, then your life with him begins.

But as you continue with him to live in the Spirit, you start to realize, wait a minute. Jesus did not just die for me, but I died. That person I used to have died with Christ. That is what water baptism represents. Romans 6 verse 3 says do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?

In Conclusion

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Now you need to listen very carefully to the last statement below.

If you reckon your old sinful nature as death through faith, through the spiritual nature in you, it has no power over you. And so you don’t act from it or react from your sinful fleshly nature. No, you now act from the spiritual nature in you.
