Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin was born in Burutu, Delta state, Nigeria on February 15. 1972 (50 years old) to Livingston Stevenson Toboukeyei Fufeyin and Asetu Fufeyin. He is a televangelist, prophet, and the founder of Warri, Delta state’s Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM). he established the church On April 3, 2010.

Prophet Jeremiah is one of the most powerful and influential Nigerian clergy, particularly among the people of Delta State, Nigeria, where his church’s headquarters are located. He is also well-known for being the spiritual father of Lucy Natasha, Kenya’s richest female preacher.

He was a dedicated businessman who delved into various businesses as a young man to make ends meet. Fufeyin began his profession by actively participating in the cinema exhibition business. He visited Delta and Bayelsa States, utilizing projectors to present films in local towns as a kind of entertainment. Aside from that, he participated in other activities such as wrestling in his hometown and neighboring towns, winning several local contests and believing that was his actual route in life, but he had no idea God had a different plan for his life.

He met Jesus Christ and converted to Christianity at some time throughout his professional career.

Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin’s initial step as a Christian leader was to establish a small Christian fellowship as a house fellowship coordinator under the umbrella of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, where he ministered to people.

He quickly started a deliverance prayer outreach in a little location on Western Road, off Airport Road, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries was founded to carry on God’s work of saving the unsaved, healing the blind, bringing deliverance, and setting the captives free.

Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries has evolved into one of Nigeria’s largest churches, with a congregation of over 100,000 members and a multibillion-naira auditorium under construction on 16 hectares of land. Fufeyin has been chastised for his public and flashy concentration on demons and “deliverance” in his current ministry.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he gave over N300 million to staff, church members, and the Nigerian government.

Fufeyin also returned their tithes and gifts, indicating that the time had come to give back. Fufeyin has also been chastised for claiming to be T. B. Joshua’s first son, which he has categorically rejected, stating that he respects all men of God, including T.B Joshua, but has never claimed to be the first son. Some people refer to him as Warri TB Joshua, Niger Delta TB Joshua, or Ijaw TB Joshua. He denied their titles, claiming to be Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin.
