Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze was born in Item, Bende Local Government, Abia State, Nigeria, on August 22, 1982. He came from a lowly background and was raised by his needy single mother in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria.

Pastor Jerry Eze graduated from Abia State University (ABSU) with a degree in History and International Relations after completing his secondary school at Ibeku High School in Umuahia. He went on to get his master’s degree in human resource management. Pastor Jerry worked briefly in broadcasting after graduating from ABSU, and afterwards with the United Nations and the World Bank Project, where he quit by God’s guidance in 2009, committing himself to full-time ministry, during his student days In the university,and he served as a pastor at the all saints chapel in the university.
