Ngozi Ezeonu is a popular Nollywood actress, television personality, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ikpelue in Ogbunike, a small village in Anambra State in the southeastern part of Nigeria on the 23rd of May 1955.

She is often regarded as a Mummy of Nollywood due to how well she performs the character she has an award for it and has been in the industry for over two decades now.
One of the reasons why directors and producers always want to feature her in movies is due to she knows how to interpret her roles very well and can fit in any character she’s given by the director.

Much information about her early school days such as her primary education and that secondary school Is not much known. She studied journalism at the Nigeria Institute of Journalism after finishing secondary school (NIJ).

Ezeonu started a career as a hairstylist after completing her secondary education before going back to school to enroll in a diploma course in Journalism.

After her graduation she wanted to practice what she studied by working in Eko FM and Radio Lagos, then in 1993, she went fully into acting. Her first debutant movie was titled “Nneka the pretty serpent“.

Her role was made possible through the numerous connection that was made to her through a popular Nollywood producer by the name of Zeb Ejiro who also doubled to be the one that introduced her to acting.

But the movie which gave her fame and name was a movie in which the likes of Zack Orji, Liz Benson, and Eucharia Anunobi featured, the movie was titled “Glamour Girl”.
